DDA Aawasiya Yojana-2017 is aimed at providing affordable housing to general public by disposing of about 12000 flats of different categories and in different locations on free hold basis. About 10000 flats are of the Low Income Group. Most of the flats have been constructed following the Green Building Code norms to reduce the Carbon footprint. The DDA Housing Scheme-2017 has been launched on Friday(30-Jun-2017). This time there are 12,072 flats in the scheme. The form of application in the scheme has added another column base, but it has been made clear that the basis is not necessary. For the scheme, the maximum 4,349 flats are in Rohini Sectors - 34 and 35. 87 HIG flats have also been kept in the scheme. Forms can be submitted till 11th August . The draw will be drawn in three months. The registration fee for LIG and public category will be one Lakh rupees, whereas for MIG and HIV, there will be two Lakh rupees. Eight banks have been tied up for the transaction related to the sale of the application form and the scheme.

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is going to bring a new housing scheme of 12,000 flats soon. DDA has completed all the formalities for this and the proposal has been forwarded to the lieutenant governor for its approval. Most of the flats are in Rohini, Dwarka, Narela, Vasant Kunj and Jasola.There are 10 thousand flat years of 2014 scheme. The remaining flats are flat and empty.
