The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is going to bring a new housing scheme of 12,000 flats soon. DDA has completed all the formalities for this and the proposal has been forwarded to the lieutenant governor for its approval. Most of the flats are in Rohini, Dwarka, Narela, Vasant Kunj and Jasola.There are 10 thousand flat years of 2014 scheme. The remaining flats are flat and empty.
The official source said, "We have completed all the formalities on our behalf and this proposal has been sent to the lieutenant governor for final approval. That's why we are waiting for the answer. If the lieutenant governor asks for some change, then we will implement them otherwise the scheme will remain the same. "Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Anil Baijal is also the Chairman of DDA. Application forms will be available both online and offline.
DDA made an agreement with 10 banks
DDA has tied up with 10 banks for the sale of applications and scheme related transactions. DDA senior officer said, "We were already connected to this with 8 banks, but two banks have been included in ICICI, Canara Bank this time.The banks already linked are Axis Bank, Yes Bank, IDBI Bank, Bank of Baroda, Central Bank, SBI, Kotak Mahindra and HDFC Bank.This scheme was supposed to be released in February but due to lack of infra, this could not be done.
Flat Surrender
DDA Senior Officer said that at this time DDA wants that only real needy people should apply for home. He said, "Therefore, we have brought a new provision for the people who do not take the flat after the name comes. This means that if the purchaser later surrenders flat, then it will be seized for registration fees of 1 or 2 lakhs, given the nature of the flat.
The Husband and Wife Both can Apply
Under this scheme of DDA, both husband and wife can apply, but if both are allotted flat then one of them will have to leave the flat. Sources said that most of the flats are bedroomed LIG (lower income group).These are the previous housing schemes and no new flat offers will be offered this year.
Registration Fee
DDA senior officer said, "About 10,000 flats are DDA schemes for the year 2014. Like the previous scheme, EWS (Economically Week category) category is not this year. Registration fee for LIG category is 1 lakh and registration fee for MIG and HIV is 2 lakh rupees.
